The CIU Parliamentary Group aimed to urge the Spanish Government to reduce the corporate tax of 50 percent of costs to advertising businesses. According to Catalan Federation the media market was hardly bitten by the economic crisis. The advertising and media market consider advertising one of the main sources of funding.

Unfortunately, the impact of economic crisis reduced the levels of investment by 25-30 percent in the first nine months of the year. Therefore, the urgent measures should taken into account in order to encourage private consumption.
